I have a Chinese visa in my previous passport which is expired, can I still use this visa to travel?
Yes, you may travel to China carrying both your old and new passports. Please note that if your name or other biographical details have been changed on your new passport, you will need to obtain a new Chinese visa.
Who is eligible to receive a 10 year multiple entry visa for China?
In most cases, US citizens who are traveling for tourism or business will be issued 10 year visas valid for multiple entries. You may be issued a shorter duration visa at consular discretion, particularly if your passport is close to expiring.
I have a valid multiple entry visa for China, do I need to provide any additional information for future trips?
No additional information or registration is required for future trips to China, so long as your multiple entry visa remains valid and your purpose of travel remains the same.
I’m visiting Hong Kong during my trip to China, do I require a separate visa?
Citizens of USA and many other nations do not require visas to enter Hong Kong. You do not need to list Hong Kong as a destination on your Chinese visa application.
I have a 10 year tourist visa for China but I now need to travel for business meetings, can I use this visa to travel or do I need to apply for a business visa?
You should apply for a new business visa. However, if you hold a valid multiple entry business visa, you may use it for subsequent tourist trips to China.

What is the difference between a standard tourist visa and an eVisa?
A standard tourist visa is valid for ten years, multiple entries, and will be a sticker visa inside your passport and the eVisa is valid for 60 days from entry, only multiple entry. The eVisa does not require you to relinquish your passport for the visa process.
My passport has expired, but my Indian visa is still valid, can I transfer or renew the visa?
The Indian government no longer allows visa transfers or renews visas, the traveler must carry both the expired passport with valid visa, and his/her renewed passport.
I am a Non-US citizen. What are the differences when applying for an Indian Visa?
All consulates require scans of either the permanent resident card or US work visa. Depending on which jurisdiction will be processing your visa, you may also have to provide a permanent address and a personal reference from your country of origin. Please keep in mind that Non-US nationals are generally issued 6 mos to 1 year visas.
As a previous Indian national, are there any additional documents I need to provide?
Yes, you will need to provide proof of renunciation of your Indian citizenship, as the government does not allow dual citizenship.
My child is a minor and will be traveling to India without both parents, are there any additional documents or vaccinations he/she will need to carry?
Your child will need to carry scans of both parents’ passports and a copy of their birth certificate. The Yellow Fever vaccination is only required if your child has recently visited a country where it is active.

Can I provide a photocopy of my passport to get a visa?
Your physical passport is required by the consular office at the time the visa application is made. The visa itself will be stamped or applied to a page in your physical passport book.
What does where I live in the U.S. have to do with processing my visa?
Certain countries use consular jurisdiction when issuing visas. Meaning, based on the state in which you reside, your visa will be processed through a particular consulate within the U.S. It is possible for consulates to have varying requirement s from one jurisdiction to another.
Do the pages in the back of my U.S. passport qualify as visa pages?
The pages in the back of a U.S. passport are used for Amendments and Endorsements made to the passport by the U.S. Department of State only, and foreign countries will not place visas on pages marked as such. Pages available for visa issuance by foreign countries say ‘Visa’ on the top of each page.
I need a visa but I’m a non-US national, can you assist?
If you are a non-US national who legally resides in the United States as either a Resident Alien (Green Card), or valid US visa holder, we can assist with travel outside of the US requiring a visa.

Travel Tips:

Beginning April 1, 2025, Namibia will grant a visa upon arrival to citizens of the below-listed countries. The cost upon arrival is N$1600 (approximately US$90). Travelers from these countries may apply for visa on arrival at the following ports of entry: Hosea Kutako International Airport (Windhoek), Walvis Bay International Airport, Oshikango Border Post, Trans-Kalahari Border Post, Oranjemund Border Post, Noordoewer Border, Katima Mulilo Border Post, Impalila Island Border Post, Ngoma Border Post, and Mohembo Border Post.
